Troligan

First off let me say that I just got the new Troligan model and I have to say that it is hideous. I was hoping that like the White Star Gunship I'd be pleasantly surprised by the actual model. Nope. It's a total embarrassment. All the ships made during the Armageddon era sucked but this one should have shipped with a straw. This moulds should have collapsed too.

Anyway, I'm keeping it. I'm going to use it as a Neroon and blame the Warrior Caste. But it got me thinking that there was some recent controversy while I was away about the Troligan. What was it? What was the fix, if any, concerning Nemo/Troligan?

The new model came out shortly before 2nd edition and had stats printed in S&P. To put it mildly, the ship kicked unholy amounts of @$$, obviously intended to ship the new model in large quantites.

When 2nd edition came out, the stats were toned down to a more balanced level.

You can see the stats on my ship viewer... the Armageddon stats have the original (SFoS) Troligan in the Minbari section, and the S&P one that came with the new model, in the "Additionals" section at the bottom. It is basically a Veshatan, with longer range and hull 6!
