Well you will probably all be able to laugh at this when it happens, but I have put my name down, and paid my money over the phone. Tried paypal but the company network frooze and I don't think the money got to them.....
Some may remember a similar problem I had last year, I asked and although the event was only advertised today around 40% of tickets have already gone so don't take too long thinking about it.
Fleet choice is very tough, have to take 10 point battle (huge fleet) but engage in 2 seperate 5 point skirmish battles and a 5 point raid battle. That is a bizarre fleet set up, huge number of ships almost all small, now which fleet can handle that.....
I can't so will be buying at least 8 more ships + fighters to fill out one of my fleets. I wonder if the purple Drazi will finally see the light of day, or perhaps my Narn or Centauri, I think Shadow and Vorlon are no hopers at SKirmish.

Look forward to seeing everyone there. It's a bit early but sure it will be worth it, even if I do have to go around and see my mum afterwards!!

I phoned in this morning to sign up.
I will be somewhat limited, I have no counters for WSC-L, Gunships or Carriers, and I doubt I'll get them painted in time.
No Nolo'Tar's either. I've decided to hold off on buying new minis until the 2E fleets come out.
But I have a nice idea for a fleet list. Should give me a nice advantage in one of the games.

1) Taking 20 Ws would put me at a disadvantage in the Assassination game, I'd take 5 of my best (probably unused ones so full Damage), my opponent could then pick which one was my highest PL ship for the extra ship and would no doubt pick the most damaged one, putting me at a disadvantage.
Also in the first two games I'd be shy a Skirmish point of vessels.
2) A VCD, for 4 Battle points, are you mad.
As for the 2 skirmish allies, you can spend 1 FAP on allies, so I can either spend 1 BAttle FAP or not, not part of the FAP that the 2 skirmish ships would represent
Any more guesses?

Though the carrier is a better bet than the Gunship.
I do have a Carrier mini and more than enough fighters for it, but I would need to paint them.
