I am not even playing this game i was thinking of geting into ACTA and wanted some thing that i could(if is is possiable to) play by my self.

What the hell is this game about and the only way(that ive seen) to find out is to buy the book.

Also what do you do is it like DnD or more with cool maps and lots of things to see( not haveing to think the battle).

Since it is a minis space combat game, it covers space combat at a higher lever (ship vs ship or fleet vs fleet) and doesn't have any role playing built into it.

You can incorporate PCs into ACTA battle but it's really a separate game system.

As for maps, you use a table top maybe covered with a black cloth and have cardboard cut outs or miniature things like on a Napolianic battle field to represent objects in space. You measure distances iwith a tape measure. At least that's how the 1st Ed was.
