--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi All,

Dr Galeotti and I have just met up for our December business meeting and are glad to announce that the Unspoken Word is back in production. Early next year we will be converting all our old products into a PDF format and selling them on the new version of Drivethrurpg. Whilst these products will not contain direct RQ conversion, they are readily useable for RQ fans, being mainly focussed on Gloranthan fun.

We will also be producing new products, including a new version of the Unspoken Word books, these will most likely be collections of scenarios and so forth for HQ, with Gloranthan stories, histories, cults and NPCs.

We have also discussed producing non-Gloranthan specific OGL MRQ products, such as open setting scenarios, adventure locations and so forth, more of that later.

The maps - We have begun a stock take, Mark has been in America for the last year and I moved house, so some stock was put into storage. A batch of as yet unsold maps has been located. Once the holiday is over, and we are back up to running speed we will make these available to the public. We have maps of Dagori Inkarth, Mirin's Cross, Prax, the Lunar Empire, Imther, Heortland, Pamaltela and Erigia. We will be talking to Issaries and Moon Design about several other Maps. We also plan to do some open licence maps in the future, such as a Stead Map, Villages, Wilderness Maps etc, that can be used with any game.

As I said before, UW has some organising to do, so you cannot order anything yet, we will make announcements in the relevant places when the time comes.

Many thanks Simon

Im glad to here that. Maps are great. And while you are at it, any chance of a second disc for Paper Wars? With perhaps more monsters and Praxians added?

Oi!

Anyone who is interested in Glorantha should get some Unspoken Word stuff, it is brilliantly written(unlike this), inventive and Gloranthaful.

Regarding Paper Wars...

I am currently debating about making these into a PDF download, we already have Zebra Riders, Bison Riders and some other praxians done. We also have a bunch of generic fantasy figures, including orcs and kobolds, by Dario, so listen out for news on this. We will probably not do a CD again, as this was extremelly costly to produce and difficult/expensive to ship.

Hi all,

If anyone is interested in any Gloranthanesque ship models for their game then there are some I put up at Paperworlds a long time ago, print them out and use as you see fit.

Very nice! What do you use as a base for the figures?

Trifle.

Hi All,

Squirmydad based them up, but if I remember right he used foam card, when printed the figures create a sea coloured tab, he extended this with a little more card.

Excellent news Simon!

The Unspoken Word books and maps are my all time favorite Glorantha products, and I have 90% of everything from the RQ-2 period onward.

It will be good to see you guys back in business,

BTw are you taking suggesting. If copyrights allow I would like to get another copy of the Map that came from Griffin Mountian. One of the best game maps ever in my opinion.
And for paper wars figure. How about a Broo based on the Eastern wanderer Broo from Shadows on the Sorderland( A Broo with Katana's and eastern armor would be both different and nice looking)

Hi All,

Thank you all for your praise and support. I will talk to Rick and Greg about the Griffin Mountain map, although the original map be copyright to the artist who drew it and a redraw would be neccessary. I also have some beautiful second age maps drawn by Colin Driver, which appeared in the immensley limited edition Durengard Scrolls and should see the light of day instead of the inside of a collectors cupboard (or in my case the inside of the book press in which it resides).

I will speak to Dario about Ninja Broo and other such goodness, I personally want to see some Fonritans in miniature.

If you are interested Dario has done a good assortment of Paper Wars figures for Fantasy Trip at http://www.thefantasytrip.com/pieces.php

Cheers Simon
