The Starchild stats??? Newb question... (spoilers?)

Why are the points values not equal to the terms as listed in the core books(pg.40)?

Like Pack Leader Ghzyrkha served 4 terms yet spent 60 points instead of the maximum 40.

Is this system going to be fleshed out a bit more because I like the fact that I can eyeball the relative strength of NPC's with this tool, thanks.

Oh jeeze. I thought when I saw this title I thought that it was going to be somewne wanting stats for the uberbeing at the end of 2001.....

...and my first thought was "Wow, what's the encounter level on that ?"

Sorry. Its a good question, I know this doesn't help answer it. Carry on.

Oh, him? He's easy: 111FFG PSR=F, All psi skills at level F.

;)

Presumably Pack Leader Ghzyrkha is an exceptional character, so extra points. NPCs don't always have to follow the rules. ;)

After all, think of how many extra points astronaut David Bowman got when he went through TMA-2 and got transformed. He was probably about a 4-termer, too (unless you give extra terms for the time in the hotel room.)
