Terrain Request

I know there will be terrain tutorials in the main book, but could you PLEASE post how to build the buildings in the preview pics. It would be great to get started and to know exactly what it's going to take to get a board going.

Heck, I'm so horrible at sawing and sanding that I'd buy premade and painted terrain for just about any reasonable price. :lol:

Well, I'd sure like to buy pre-made and painted buildings from Mongoose..........

Just started making mould masters so I can pour wall sections to create buildings.

When I get the masters finished I'll post some pics.

The idea is to cast wall sections, made from a scale brick surface with clay added to act as the plaster/adobe.

Then use casted corners to bring it all together, the corners will also have an edge to help hold the roof.

All a work in progress as of now.

I have completed about 8 scale drawings so far.

If only we could get a rule with a Evo figure lying next to it, to be sure of some scale issues.

FYI

Ran across a product at the hardware store,

A roll of anti-slip 3M stuff,
Width is 1/2 " to 3 " though a larger store may have more types,
Colors were dark grey, grey and light grey, all textured.

Thought they would make decent side walks, and the 3" one side of a highway.

I saw it at Ace Hardware.

Yeah, we have it where I work. I think the grit would be a bit rough for a road. Then again, we are talking Kerakhistan...
