Banded Mongoose
i can hardly wait until evo comes out next month

and also for WWII ver. as well anywho, i would

like to get started with scenery for evo

(modern) and just wanted to know, where to

start? i have lots of foamcore and im thinking

maybe making lots of middle eastern style

buildings? and then covering them spackle and

paint?

what type of vegitation is over in the middle

east?

what are some of you all doing for terrain?

is mongoose producing terrain for this as well?

thanks

I was thinking about taking an area of my hometown and building it to scale... we're about to move out of this house though so maybe after that.

I'm really hopeing top get some tutorials on the buildings from the pics in S&P. I'm really torn on modern/ WWII. I've been painting 15mm WWII forever and am leaning towards modern due to the terrain style.

Tutorials for making the buildings shown in S&P and the website will be in the Battlefield Evo hardback advanced rulebook.
The tutorial may well make an appearance in S&P at some time as well...

Also remember though that you don't have to fight your wars in the middle east (i knows it's in fashion)

This is a war set in the future so you can use your imagination a bit and fight in mainland Europe, Mexico, China. Or just as Mongoose has created a republic to fight over so could you. Draw up a map, decide the terrain type and name it- job done...oh and get the terrain of course.

oh yes THAT S&P ! :D

i was making a moutain out of a molehill to figure that one out!

ok, will check into that, thanks

ps. oh yes, that thought did come to me about the potential of it being in any terrain, im thinking the southern tip of california would be fun, im even thinking defending a USA airport, would be a lot of fun.. .. all sorts of possibilities

Or a battle for Mongoose Tower itself

Whatever terrain you use you will need lots of it as I foresee any fights in relatively open terrain turning into blood baths. Lots of small hills, gully’s, buildings enclosures natural and planted vegetation buildings of all sizes water features and the like. I would also suggest that terrain is set in such a way as to produce an interesting game and set tactical objectives for each of the players
