Technology Marches On: NASA's Anti-Rad Tech Candidates

We can assume the standard Traveller ship has anti-radiation shielding and micro meteor protection built in to every hull. Transparent technology.

I always figured that all ships should come equipped with anti-rad in their hulls as standard. The ships designed with the anti-rad option have more of the same, plus auxiliary LHyd capillary networks and carbon webs lacing the subsurface outer hull along with magnetised nodes scattered throughout to deflect all but the fastest charged particles.

I thought the spaceships occasionally went through the nuclear damper wash facility at the local space station, that the planetary mafia is using to launder their money.

Otherwise known as barnacle *cough* baryon sweeps.
Those ships equipped with nuclear damper defenses should be able to turn them on to neutralise even more radiation - I dunno, something like [(tonnage of the ship / 10) * TL] rads or some such.
