the APCs i scratch built, they are loosely based off of the BTR-RD

and then this is a 1/48 T-72 from Kitech

the infantrymen is an Imperial Guardsmen, that is spray painted.

i got a kitec 1/48 t-80 and a brit warrior at 1/72 and to be honest 1/72 is closer in scale visualy compared to other bf-evo stuff evan a bf warrior.

1/72 is more in scale with 20mm the closest to 28mm gaming is 1/56 or 1/60, 1/48 is just slightly over scale, more for 32mm gaming

yeah i know the theory behind it, but thats due to over proportiond for example a imperial gurdsman has the same proportions as a 1/45th-1/50th ie head size arm width for example. so 1/48 has been a traditional choice.

but in hand i have a mongoose 1/65th warrior and in the other hand i have a 1/72nd warrior and differance is very slight,

but a mia2 by mongoose at 1/65th scale compared to a 1/48th kitec T-80 (not the best comparison but its all i got lol) the diferance is huge.

thats all im trying to say.
