Swat minatures need help

Ok all sorry for stealing the thread but i see some swat minatures on the www.theassaultgroup.com and i need some rules on them well im gonna make some but base it on the starship troopers ones only thing is ive never played starship troopers so any help would be appreciated :D
 
Does anyone know if the models from www.theassaultgroup.com would be suitable for BF:Evo? Some of the British models look really good but I wonder how useful they'd be. There are men with SA80s, men with LSWs, men with Minimis, GPMG teams, mortar teams, Marines, various regiments and SAS, but they're not in the very latest kit. No FIST gear or underslung grenade launchers.

Anyone have any thoughts?
 
I have a bunch of TAG minis and they look very good, keep away from the marines tho, i hear they are oversized, but then again that might just be a rumour
i don't think they'll look proper next to BF:evo stuff tho, it seems to be more real than heroic
 
hmm i was thinking cause there the countrys elite police giving them good stats and the terrorists watered down special forces ;)
 
For the terrorists you could just lift MEA civilian mob stats. For the SWAT it's got to be watered-down SF stats. They might be the bets of the police, but they're not soldiers and they're not as good as real special forces.

Alternatively, use SAS stats and the SWAT models to represent them in CT kit. Modify them a bit to get rid of the assault rifles and replace them with MP5s.
 
Once the rules or game comes out we can talk about all the stuff we will be adding....

I would like to turn Bf Evo mixed with Gomc to do a one on one skirmish system, i have already done weapons, just need to add a "Skill" for shooting something like the Agi roll in gangs etc...

Anybody done anything like that with the old Sst rules...?
