Supplment 6: Military Vehicles

Looks like we get this one sooner then expected. Just got bumped from a September 2009 release to August 2009.
 
I'm certainly looking forward to getting my hands on the book. I'm a big fan of Masamune Shirow, and I'd seriously like to work on some of the military vehicle designs he came up with for his series. :)

Sure does. It's included in both Supplement 5 and Supplement 6.

Sure does. It's included in both Supplement 5 and Supplement 6.

S5 gives us the ability to create all sorts of civilian vehicles and C6 provides the lethal hardware.

To bad I'm going to lose my job on June 30 :( .

Don't really need Military Vehicles for that, the design rules are the same. Can use either to build up weaponized vehicles.
 
I for one am looking forward to the civilian vehicles book. I do like to do my own designs and work them out. I kind of want to make a universe without or with only limited grav. So I can make more wheeled and air cushion, ground effect vehicles etc.

Also I always found practical vehicles lacking in the standard game. I made things like 6 passenger speeders so crew woudl nto be limited to simple air raft speeds.

No problem. Hover is covered, along with wheel, track and walker for ground based vehicles.
 
Will the vehicle design system(s) be added to the Traveller SRD? I, for one, definitely hope so.

If so, when might that happen? I'd like to use the system to build robots and robotic vehicles for Flynn's Guide to Robots, since we're so close to its release now, and I want to know when I can expect that to become available, if it is going to.
