Oh, goodie. Dozens of charts to pick apart. My joy is boundless ;>

See, thats where you can make it easy. Just add the ships crit chart to the ship stats. Once burger, et al. adjust their ship viewers with new crit charts right on the ship cards then there is NO extra flipping. The crit chart would be right there for you.

Actually, as I just made a crit chart for an Omega, REALLY the only thing, or at least the BIGGEST thing, that would be needed would be a chart for the speed crits. For the most part the others aren't as affected.

This makes it even easier to fix. Just list the speed trait with crits.

Omega
Speed: 7/6/5/3

White Star
Speed: 15/13/10/6

Ka'Bin'Tak
Speed: 4/3/2/1

This all violates the K.I.S.S. rule...... ;)

Far from it. A 1-2 engine crit you drop to the second number, a 3-4 crit the 3rd number a 5 the 4th and a 6 is adrift.

from a kiss standpoint it is SIMPLER than using % (though I would be just as happy with that. I'm gud at that there basic math stuff). You suck on a crit, you just mark where your speed is.

A % based is the best, imo. And regardless of if rounding is used or not, it makes things *FAIR*

1-2: ship at 75% speed
3-4: ship at 50% speed
5: ship at 25% speed

Thus a white star that eats a 1:5 crit is moving at 3 3/4 inches and a Ka'Bin'Tak that sucks on a 1:5 crit is moving at 1 inch. Proportionately, it is exactly the same.

I would rofl if Mongoose ever made a ship with a 3 speed. If they take a -4 speed do they start moving backwards???
