I liked reading that Matt, I think it is awesome you guys do try to keep us folks informed of what is going on.
On another note for the Steampunk/Mecha/Bioshock/Darkest Africa I think a good title might very well be (wait for it) PULP Traveller. That basic description you gave though does give me a great interest in that type of gameplay. I would really like it if it had some form of Magic system in it as well, I think that would fit nicely into the mix.
