Spotting ?

Is Spotting in good weather automatic then regardless of range ?

Sorry if this has been asked already but with the ranges of some ships guns enemy vessels would be hit from table edge if this is the case or have I missed the ruling somewhere ?

you havent missed anything.
i think they recommend a 6x8 playing surface.

since you cant stop in VAS how would a target be stationary except from damage?
