P Poi Mongoose Feb 17, 2007 #1 I can't find many references to the colours used on Soviet ships. I know they were grey, apart from the Tashkent, which was sky blue. Anyone know which Tamiya or GW grey and blue is closest? What about deck colour?

D DM Mongoose Feb 17, 2007 #2 I've gone for dark gey overall, with light grey drybrushing. It looks quite disrinctive. IIRC some Northern Fleet ships sported a splinter scheme of greys, blues amd white. but I've not found a decent picture so far.

P Poi Mongoose Feb 17, 2007 #3 There are some black and whites here Warships of WW2 which show the patterns, but not the colours used.
