I've been scanning through some of the old threads on here and i keep coming across people talking about the Sons of Cimmeria. What exactly is this as i haven't come across what it actually is. Is it a group who make house rules or something?

Know O' Gman, back in the mists of time around the time of the original launch of the Conan RPG, Mongoose established the Sons of Cimmeria. Only the brave - and those with email - signed up. A free adventure was sent out to all members along with other stuff I forgot about because all I wanted was the free adventure. It was over all too soon. Rise up SOC !

I seem to remember that the said adventure was Dark Altar of Katar, now reprinted in Adventures in the Hyborian Age. There was also this article about Iranistani characters, that has been reprinted somewhere too, I guess, like in S&P or in the Compendium...

The Iranistani race was described in the F series. I was disappointed that it was not added to the 2nd edition, considering every other race was placed in there. :shock:
