Cosmic Mongoose
I apologise if these have been asked before, I can't find them... i think i know the answers so just want some confirmation.

1) I have aG'Vrahn and G'Quan in hyperspace, they both open Jump points to confuse the enemy as to where they will come from, the G'Vrahn then emerges from the G'Quans standard jump point. Does the G'Vrahn still act as per the AJP rule, even though it came through a standard jump point. I "think" it does, but just claryfying... not that i ever intend doing this if my campaign group are reading ;-)

2) in a campaign, both myself and another player impose deverting raids on an enemy. do they all take place in the first battle, or does one happen in each battle?

3) Can you open a jump point within a jumpoint to collapse it (i was asked this the other day), as far as I know, the only way to destroy a jump point is the shadows disruptor, but I swear i remember the JP in a JP from the show causing a huge explosion...

1) yes, just the event still wanders for the ship without AJP. The G'Vrahn JP collapses as soon as it enters the G'Quans JP.

2) Just the first Battle you have.

3) No, that was just in the show and there are no rules for it here.

on one, yay, on two crap, on 3 fair enough.

means the EA face the dilgar who are 3 FAP's down, and I face a full dilgar fleet, damnit!

better to run away than fight a losing battle. in times where you can't commit a full turns resources, sometimes that's best.

You'd need to be damn accurate with your jump points, oh and since it was powerful enough to destroy an undamaged shadow ship it is probably beyond the scope of the game.

And it was only used once, so obviously not a tactic people are gonna want to replicate. A bit like jump point bombing actually...

It was a sneaky evil Vorlon planning on doing it, so I reckon he could be that accurate. but yup, pretty explosive, and yes, it "could" make a pretty interesting scenario, I'll try a few ideas, maybe submit it to S&P, or more likely stick it in the next Narn PDF

That's the kind of crazy stunt that only a main character with script immunity like Sheridan would try or be able to get away with.

---
Like rescuing a ship lost in hyperspace which is another thing Sheridan got away with but no one else did.

They used that same method again though, for example in Thirdspace to retrieve the artifact.

That could be seen as the same sort of thing except that the main character with script immunity getting away with the crazy stunt this time is Ivanova. Also, if they failed, there would have been no plot.

"Main Character Immunity"
The player possessing a ship with Main Character Immunity need never roll any dice relating to that ship and assumes that all dice that would have been rolled come out at their most successful result. Also the ship cannot be destroyed unless so stated in the script.

The opponent of a player possessing a ship with Main Character Immunity should pack up and go home because he will get no enjoyment out of this game...

Well on the Bonehead maneuver.

It works, but everyone on the table is dead afterwards. Except if they have Main character immunity of course.

Well so much for my one time G'Quan blasting Sheridans Omega to pieces.....

You can use the What If? rule to counter Main Character Immunity. By declaring a What If? roll you may negate all Main Character benefits on a successful CQ check for the declaring ship with a target number of 8. The Main Character can then be targeted as normal. Play proceeds according to the rulebook.

As the EA player involved... :D

(Sadly, then rolled a Patrol scenario, so only shot down one Omelos - which did put up a spirited fight, however).
