Mongoose is part of the "Bits and Mortar" initiative? So if I buy my physical copies of the Traveller books at my LGS I get the PDF for free? From any gaming store? Or do I have to get them to sign up?
Yeah, if I was a bricks and mortar store, I'd have signed up for the publicity alone... no doubt they can display some kind of badge for the priviledge...
I thought I were lucky when I did read "West Berlin" (hey, only about
500 km ...), but then I realized that the "West" would be a bit outdated
today, and there was this "NJ" behind the name ...
From the addresses, it looks like maybe there's a lack of advertising outside of the USA...
Maybe getting some of the distributors to include a leaflet in their parcels - even if it's just an A5 B&W photocopy or something... it might generate some interest.
Sadly there's no B&M stores here in West Cumbria that I've found or I'd be telling them about it... rather than buying the PDFs seperately
Cool. I buy my stuff from their Newcastle shop. If they do join up, would there be any possibility of some PDFs of previous paper purchases being made available?
Getting a game store to signed up is not hard. All that really needs to happen if for the people to verify that the person requesting is actually the person that owns the store. Tell your local game store to sign up.
