Skinny Warchief thats cool

Gauntlet-

Banded Mongoose
Yes you CAN make a skinny warchief alot cooler,

as a few other people have shown its pretty easy too

so heres my take on it, soldier legs, a clockwork golem's arm, lizardman spear arm, tau shield generator on back, and a Bretonian mark instead of horse hair...

The conversation of the Chief looks nice, but it appears to me a conversation of his animal would be more impotant.
First of all, replace this ugly tchernobyl vulture head and this ugly crippled arms.
Or better, replace the whole thing.
Use a Krotox, a Hordes Monster or something cool instead.

the mount is decently sculpted, and certainly doesnt violate any fluff or some such

whereas the warchief

Why oh WHY does an alien have a greek horsehair helmet cap? Now I get the possibillity that an alien race might MIGHT do the same thing, but knowing that, any designer will avoid it for an alien race, because hes trying to give us something 'alien'

and then theres the feet! Which were frigging human boots! and too small for actually skinny feet

then the arms and the spear wire pretty lacking in any detail

--- so no I think the rider is way more important, that being said I see your point about the beasty, its not particullarly threatening. But I like it anyways reminds me of some sort of twisted ChocaBo

If converting it I think I would use a Carnosaur from Lizard men...

Well, both the rider and the mount are nice sculpts, but open the Skinnie army book and look at the Warchief picture there... Totally different bloke on a totally different animal, it's as if te model was made by another company or something. And the drawn one is far cooler, if you ask me.

That's a damn fine conversion. The fleur-de-lis is a kick!

I don't have any problems with the mount either. But I was thinking something more "road warrior" like a bike or a left VOID HK GravBike from Ikore. Oooo! That's an idea;)

With all of the tan-colored Pecadors I've been seeing lately, I think I might have influenced a trend, lol. Good job on it, too. :D
