I was wondering before i purchase any of the models, roughly how big are they compared to BFG models, as i'd probably be useing both sets of models for each game

They are probably of a similar size (physical dimensions) EA/Imperial however, there are a mot more Tall/Thin (Sharlin/Avioki) or Wide/Flat (G'Quan/Primus) ships in ACTA. And the Armagedon ships just look massive.

The EA Omega Destroyer is nearly the same size as a plastic BFG Cruiser.
The small vessels are bigger in ACTA as in BFG, and the big ones are
also larger than BFG counterparts.

But most of the fleet is nearly same size (or mass if you like)
