Cosmic Mongoose
As I draw close to completing my next (small) supplement, it's that time again where i ask for some pics.

if you have pictures of the following in non standard colours, or maybe a modification I can use em!

blue star
whitestar
morshin
lakara
thentus
rongoth
oracle

and if I can't get em looking a bit different, and you fancy yourself as a painter, send me what ya got! might add a ship or two to this list at some stage as I go

90 views and not one picture donation?! for shame. ok, the supplement will be low on pictures

Sorry, I missed the Lakara the first time through. This aren't mine, and they're not that far off standard, but it's something.

All I have that I would even consider finished are my Vorlons

The pictures aren't the best, but if you want to use them I'll make another attempt at the pics.

Looking at your list Hiff I only have one possiblility.

To go with my Balosians I will be painting a Alacan fleet.

I have been experimenting around a colour scheme for the Alacans and at the same time I have been playing around with basic multi colour belending. (Dark red through orange then yellow to white)

I have 1 Lakara part painted which has been sittng around for a month, probably waiting my decision to strip it start over not beceause the paint job is bad just that the effect is let's say not only over the top but having gone over the top is now also sprinting away into the distance.

The ship is not also not quite finished but in its basic colour scheme could be quickly.

Normally wouldn't consider offering up such a picture but since you may be short of photos can take pic tonight and post tomorrow.

Let me know if this would be a complete waste of time, have a few Third Space frigates to paint.

By the way what is your timescale for releasing your supplement.

I have Morshin and White Stars, unfortunately they are standard colours but feel free to use em if you like:

There are some Thentus and Rongoth on there too, try browsing around the albums :)

i have no use for orange centauri!

Only having red and gold ones no idea what you are talking about!!!!

I did ponder making up a unique renegade Centauri ship for the ISA - but they don't deserve it

actually, their "may" be a centauri ship in the fleet if it's stats ever reach me.

Ok, the supplement has it's layout and ships list complete (unless i get that centauri) I then want to do a couple of ISA admirals, and a few scenarios. As I go to spain on Thursday (whooo) I will be finishing it when i get back on the 30th, as I am off work until the 5th anyway.

Thanks for the offer Kickaha, but you get on with your thirdspace ships! and i'll go grab some of Burgers for the Narn, their won't be pic for every ship like I planned as the formatting gets a little crowded, OR i add more pages, which then uses your ink when you print ;-) so i'll avoid that!

This does not look like a standard White Star. ;)

My own collection, including a pair of basic White Stars, can be seen here. Feel free to copy any you like.

Adrian H - see you have a painted up Revell B5. - Nice paint job.

I haven't got round to painting my own one yet, although I assembled it quite a long time ago. Kidding myself that I might paint it over Christmas but I suspect I won't, too many other projects.

Hoping to convince the missus that Santa should bring me a spray brush, with my ever growing 28mm WWII vehicle collection in mind, but the B5 model might benefit from same.

I didn't use an airbrush on B5, mainly because I don't own one either. It would probably be useful if your WW2 collection includes German vehicles, though.

You're not the only one who had a model in storage for a long time. I had already completed one of my two Revell Starfuries ages ago, in Sheridan's markings, but never got round to the second until earlier this year. I put Sinclair's markings on that one. If only I'd waited just a little longer, I'd have known that I could have had its stand signed by Claudia Christian, in which case the Starfury would have got Ivanova's markings instead...

As for alternate colour schemes, Photoshop makes this easy. Take one photo of a standard model, e.g. my White Stars; select the ships; mess with the hue and saturation; and get a pair of Green Stars. :D
