Shadows in Zamboula and Conan RPG magic

I re-read Shadows in Zamboula last night in preparation for tonight's game session, and reviewed Conan RPG magic afterward, resulting in a few questions:

1. When Conan is confronted by Baal-Pteor, he is subjected to several illusions - nothing in the Conan RPG seems to reflect this?
2. The Dance of the Cobras spell cast by Totrasmek appears to be an illusion to Conan, but the Conan RPG description seems to say otherwise, requiring actual cobras for the ritual, etc. - what's up with that?

Any of this covered by Scrolls of Skelos?

Heh. On a whim, I checked. Got my copy of Scrolls this evening on the way home.

As it turns out, one of the new Sorcery Styles is Hypnotism. One of the new spells for that style is... Illusion. Seems to be just what you're looking for. In fact, the source citation/flavor text box on the page starts with "He started towards Baal-pteor ... " :)

Cool, thanks, just ran a version of Shadows in Zamboula last night, PCs made their saves, so not too much of an issue :)
