They should get the license for a Stargate SG1 RPG IMHO

Alderac produced the Stargate RPG, but when Sony bought out MGM and the licence got renegotiated ALderac lost the licence. Sony haven't been in any rush to let anyone else have it so it seems doubtful.

Others have suggested this before, heck I have the ALderac books and I'd buy one if Mongoose did it.

I have the core book. Recently aquired. Which is the best AEG sorcebook in your oppinion, LBH?

It depends what you want to do, but First Steps is good.

ALso the Spycraft 1.0 books US Militaries and World Militaries, give good background info on military forces if you want a very miliotary based campaign. THere are conversion stats to convert the SC 1.0 stats into SG-1 (Which is sort of Spycraft 1.5)
