Now one of these is a Cylon Basestar and one is a Vree Command Saucer but which is which?

(ps. for the record I do love the new version of the Tzakk but it IS blatantly a Basestar)

So they are two saucers, one on top of the other... Apart from that they look very different. At least to me. Very different styles and overall appearance.

i have to agree, there's only so much you can do with saucers without getting something that will resemble a basestar or the Enterprise, on some level.

Well yes but also note the launch bays around the rim ; (and yes there IS only so much you can do with saucers before it all starts to blurr together )

Well there is only so much you can do with saucers.....

But you can break up the simple saucer feeling by adding visible launch bays, turrets and whatnot....


Well you can get black and white twins... ^^. SO yer they were maybe seperated at birth.

Wow, I must have missed something. :shock:

I'm really impressed with this complete redo of the Z'Taak Command Saucer! This really looks more in line with the existing Vree ships than the original one. Good Job!

Now I just hope it's cast well and comes with all the necessary pieces. :roll:

If we have a Cylon Basestar can we use it as a Z'Takk? I wouldn't want the Z'Takk to feel lonely.

Given the rounded wings, a Raider wouldn't even look that out of place as a tzym....

and yes, am much impressed with the Z'takk. It gives me much hope for future ACTA minis that such an improvement is managed.

Now we eagerly await the Mk. II Boombox of Doom (TM)

One of the several Corumai-based designs would be good.
Hell, the Corumai itself would rock (unless you play Abbai)

Nah i am rather hopeful...especially that MGP remembers the part of flowing lines on Brakiri ships.......
