Missing many cool weapons:

Slug:
Many more shot guns types. Maybe a Gauss Shotgun, or a Gauss Support weapon.
Rapid Fire weapons like the extreme rapid fire ACR, or some SMGs or so


Energy:
Heavy Laser
Convergence beam
Laser Assault weapon system (something with a higher auto-rating basically)

Need to skim the first CSC and make sure those items are in there.

We have actively taken a lot of very similar weapons out - this should be a true equipment book rather than a gun bunny's book (the first CSC went a little too far down that road).

Okay... lol - but I would still heavily reccommend more shotgun options, from a pure coolness and variety factor

So as the new CSC seems to be missing huge swaths of individual and fun firearms and attachments so as not to make it a gun bunny book, will there be a weapons book later with the old and individual weapons added back in? It would be a shame to see whole lines of very Traveller-esque guns (i.E. Pretty much all Accelerator weapons) completely removed as an option for players.

While I agree, and equipment book should be an equipment book, there are a few items that just seem odd to have removed.

For example, a folding or collapsible stock seems almost mandatory and yet is missing from both the CRB and the CSC. To have included a Shoulder Stock for pistols and not a folding stock seems flopped in the logic when it is rare to see a shoulder stock on a pistol and a large number of military and civilian rifles and shotguns offer folding stocks.
