Seeking players in Columbus, Ohio

I am an OLD school D&D player and have roleplayed the majority of my life. I am into miniature gaming as well. I began getting the itch again to get back into pen and paper RPG gaming and had heard a lot of good stuff about the Conan RPG by Mongoose so I went out and bought the Atlantean edition of the rules and now I am seeking people that would love to get together in Columbus, Ohio once or more per week to play.

We could meet at any of the local venues such as The Armoury, The Soldiery, The Guardtower, Ravenstone, etc. and/or sometimes at my apartment. My girlfriend will be a player as well. Anyone out there from Columbus, Ohio interested in putting together a group? I'd especially love to find a gamemaster since I much prefer to be a player.

Its seems really tough to find players these days, I posted an email on this forum for conan players a while ago and did not get one reply. I am in Grand Rapids MI which obviously is too far away for a regular game but if you ever feel inclined you could drive the five hours for a Conan marathon weekend which the group that I gm is always willing to do!

Otherwise I hope you have luck in finding players for your game , but be warned regular D&D players will freak out when they start to play conan as death is always a lot closer in conan than in d&d.

There is the online virtual tabletop software that allows us to play over the internet. In fact, Klooge supports Conan. Anyone tried any of these?

I wouldn't mind being a player in an online game (you don't really need any software to do it as long as you go slow and have an adventure take at least a month), but I'm just a tad to far to play with any of you face to face...
