someone suggested that he may have worked with Mongoose as well, and thus someone at Mongoose might have contact information for his estate.
According to his BGG profile, under the
Linked Items section, he worked on the Mongoose Traveller System for a third party UK company called Spica Publications:
Bryan Gibson (March 9, 1961 - February 10, 2014) was a game artist with over 60 classic Traveller credits. He had lived in Green Cove Springs near Jacksonville, Florida. Gibson had previously served as an artilleryman and military policeman in the Army National Guard and as a security...

Spica Publications still seem to be in business although, laugh, the provided link to their website is broken, and there is no sign they are on the web anymore, except in places like DrivethruRPG. However, Bryans work for them doesn't appear to focus on producing new Droyne art. I cannot find signs that Spica are registered on this Mongoose site (not in that name, anyway). So, it seems there is no point in waiting for them to respond.
Nonetheless, although the links to DeviantArt from Pinterest were broken, you can directly search for Droyne on DeviantArt. A vast majority of the results, about 95%, seem to be his work, and they all appear to be copyrights up to this year.
all the search results are under the Traveller Group on that site. The Traveller Group was setup by Bryan/Sabakakrazny. His name is still present in the list of Admin, except it is crossed out as deactivated. Instead, the group appears to be controlled by other Admin. You could always drop the Group's Admin a message by clicking on the
About tab, located near the top of the webpage. Then the
Message Admin button is about halfway down the page.
If someone can point me to an image of a Droyne that I can legitimately use for the upcoming issue's cover, I'd appreciate it.
There appear to be two more Droyne images in the Traveller subreddit, here:
Doesn't say anything about copyrights.
