Scout

Looking though the rule book we saw a rather large section on the trait 'scout'.
Reading the section is seemed to be a good addition to a fleet, then we turn to the ship section.
Hmmm Feds, nope... maybe Klingon or Romulans.....nope again and on though the rest of the races.
Not one ship with the scout trait, ok so whats the deal?
Is this coming in future races, or did we miss something?

Bases get the trait - that'll be in the PDF rules or maybe the errata for dead tree version.

However, mostly the trait is there because there are a lot of Scout ships in the parent games, so expect future products to carry ships from all races.

We are expecting some scouts to be released soon in some form or another - probably in the Call to Arms Journal that is due soon - as Matt Sprange announced some would be available soon.

Make that one base.....

I suspect scouts fell by the wayside to make space since the rule is well organised....playtesters may or may not be allowed to comment on if they were playtested (depends on their NDA).

Scouts are supposed to be in the ACTA mini magazine, that Matt promised is arriving soon :wink:

A scout for each of the main races plus the rules tidied up and modified.

Many Photon users are waiting eagerly, Plasma races not so much :roll:
