Just a minor aside here to say a big thank you to Matt (or whoever it was who agreed to do so) for putting the unit cards for the Wave 1 stuff in S&P.

I for one was reconsidering even getting BF Evo when I heard I would have to buy the minis to get the unit stats (Im still on the fence about the actual minis but I love the look of the rules so far). Now I will definitely be getting the book at least and will wait and see about the minis themselves

I have to second Locutus9956's props to the Mongoose crew for publishing stat cards.

Truth be told - was not gonna' use the B Evo minis - was going to use my current moderns (DDD mostly) and add to them

Have since changed my mind - while the B Evo minis aren't compatible with my "Heroic" 28s - the look good w/ my scenery - which was my bigger concern. I'm in for a pound - as they say

Any chance of getting the cards reposted in a more printer friendly manner - maybe here on the forums - or prepaps some enterprising lad can photoshop out the black border and post them individually like Hiro's proxy cards.

Again congrats - now if we could only get the buggers

def a good idea as it allows you to plan your first purchases and buy i 1k force on day one rather than a few bits over a few visits.

I agree, kudos to Matt and the crew for posting the unit stats. I probably won't use the Mongoose miniatures but I do like the rule set. I plan on buying lots of ACTA stuff if Mongoose ever resurrects Fleet Action scale mins though. Gotta keep trying...

posting units stats has ensured that I iwll purchase the book when it hits our local store, and I'll introduce people to the rules.

Thank you all for your kind words. I had to shrink the cards a bit to get them in the magazine but I believe that once the waves are released we will look at putting them online for downloading.

Will Mongoose be publishing just the units that are being released in the near future, or will we be able to get most unit stats when the advanced rulebook is released in March?

NO unit stats will be in the rulebook - downloads from the web only.

I cried foul - when I heard no stats in the book - but web availability has advantages over being put in the book & I thought stats wouldn't be avail short of the boxes themselves.
