RuneQuest intro game - 23rd June

Halfbat

Banded Mongoose
Hi all,

Every so often I have Saturday dedicated to gaming and the next one is 23rd June. I've got some players who want to try out RuneQuest from around the place, but thought I'd offer it to anyone here who wants to try it out in a peaceful (home) setting.

I'd be running 1 or 2 scenarios, either from S&P, homebrew, or from the Lost Isles, or a completely different adventure. We may have time for a RQ-based tabletop-ish game, too. The choice is yours! :)

I live in a village near Stonehenge (off the A303 / A338), west of Andover and north of Salisbury. It's on the edge of Salisbury Plain so, by peaceful, I mean it's peaceful apart from when the artillery range is in use, or when the apaches and fighter's aren't taking part in some kind of excercise.

If anyone's interested, do PM or email me!

I'd go if I didn't live in Ireland.

DAMN YOU! Why do you have to be at stonehenge!

EDIT: Sorry for the outburst, but most of my RPG buddies hate d100 systems, and all my friends who do like them don't gm the system.

Well, if you ever pop over this way...

No offense would have taken without the edit. :D It can be really frustrating playing witih d20ophiles - I know, too. At least my nearby group has just started looking at CoC and every so often will try RQ.

But that's new.

One of my d20 pervo friends laughs about 'cock' whenever he sees the abbreviation CoC. What a dumbass.

D100 is hot, d20 is not.

I make a point to play d20, sometimes, but thats it really.

We have a couple of Stonehenge style structures here in New England as well. My brother and I are making some plan to lay down a few small ones in Maine as well.

Stonehenge.... Maybe it could be used to power a teleporter, exclusively used for some internatoinal gaming society....
I can dream...

Establishing that teleport route for Mage? :)

Anyway - offer is still open....
