This looks really nice. Check out the Deodand at the end.
The way that Passions are handled reminds me of Allegiences from d20 Modern. I was expecting them to be more like personality traits from Pendragon. I'm a bit surprised that they don't seem to have a rating indicating the strength of the passion as I can imagine that you could invoke or compel them like Aspects in FATE. However, we haven't seen the full rules yet, so there may still be some surprises in this area.
I'm unfamiliar with the Passions rules. Can places and things be associated with Passions?Loz said:They're a development of the Passions systems created for Elric and Wraith Recon. You haven't seen the full rules in the preview, but there are values associated with each one.

Sounds like the idea we had. POW being your "Destiny score" or something like that.
I will definately be buying the product, simply from inspiration - as I will likely never play in Glorantha.
I do find it a bit sad though that the franchise is fragmented, but luckily most things will be useable across RQ6 and Legend.

I don't think RQ6 is inherently Glorantha Based, from the preview it seems that the sample character lives in a world inspired by ancient greece.

Are there any plans to produce alternate magic systems...such as free-form or effect-based magic?
I didn't phrase that right. Can things and places have Passions? For instance the Marsten House might have Loyalty to Evil; Love Murder; Hate the Living. Or something like that.Loz said:I'm unfamiliar with the Passions rules. Can places and things be associated with Passions?
Yes. Anything can be associated with a Passion: Loyalty to City; Love Home; Hate School.
Excellent. That, Magic World and Enlightened Magic happen to be on my wishlist. No, not at present. Chaosium's 'Advanced Sorcery' for BRP Magic World contains the freeform magic system I developed for 'The Unknown East' many, many years ago. I'd recommend taking a look at it: its 100% compatible with RQ6 and Legend.

That, I think, is entirely up to you...
I noticed High Rise is back in print. Finally, I've been wanting to pick that up for ages.Prime_Evil said:...The works of J.G. Ballard provide numerous examples of this...
