I do not understand the specific idea of the Parry-Rules in RQ4.
Example of my Problem:
Both Fighters fight with greatswords;
Fighter A is an apprentice (e.g. 20% weapon skill);
Fighter H is an Hero-Level character (e.g. 120% weapon skill);
Combat Action situation: A attacks H
A failes!
H normal success with parry!
Based on the Parry spreadsheet in the basic rulebook the attack is successful but 2*AP of weapon is reduced from damage.
(e.g. 2d8: 6&7 = 13; 2*AP4 = 8; => 13-8=5 damage to the armour (e.g. leather cloths only =2) i.e. 3 hitpoints damage to the location (e.g. abdomen of Hero)
From my point of view that could'n be ok - what did I miss?
