I love Clark Ashton Smith!
for nearly 2 decades an unloved copy of the 70s Panther version of "Out of Space and Time Vol 1" sat in boxes and lofts in the Kweegs various households... young Kweeg had been lured in by the Lovecraft connection and was disappointed by CASs 'modern' stories, skipping over the fantasy tales for more material for his Call of Cthulhu sessions.... young Kweeg was a MORON! Pulle dit out of teh lost early this year, and have since gone CAS crazy.
My favourites are the Zothique tales - you just can't have too many necromancers!
Anybody recommend other fantasy writers in teh same vein?
