Review wanted: Art by Richard Spake - Scifi Uniforms [BUNDLE

SF Uniforms, I have some of these. These are decent art pieces, but they're all of people just standing up exactly as the cover picture is. The lack of any variety to the positions made the art of limited use to me. I do not plan on purchasing any additional sets in the series.

LGtSpaceports has a distinct point of urgency: in a few months, Mongoose is going to have to stop selling B5 books soon. Get it while you can if you want it.

I am Mongoose, I cannot rave enough about this. If you're serious about wanting to work fulltime (or even as a major 2nd job) as an RPG publisher, this is worth every penny.

I'll second this by noting that his artwork seems very Star Trek-centric. One of the engineering work uniforms is pretty much a copy of the radsuit Scotty and several other engineering crew wore in The Wrath of Khan. I'll even go as far as expanding this to note that all of his SF artwork is centered heavily on Star Wars or Star Trek, leaving very little leeway for use in Traveller or other SF publications. Likewise, his fantasy art is heavily centered on D&D 3.5.

While he's a good artist, he needs to expand his horizons in order to provide better resources for publishers.
