On page 201 of RTTROK it states that the city of Luxurs temple of set has a workforce of 81,000. I take it this is a misprint!

Should be 18,000 - virtually the entire city works there in some capacity (mostly part-time) or other.

Sorry about the typo. The population of Luxur is listed in the text somewhere.

Yes two pages later 18,894. It was this and the population size of the cities throughout the sourcebook in general, that made me think 81,000 seemed too much.

I was wondering, where did the inspiration for the size of cities come from? Are there explicit references to population in REH works?
