Result of successful evade versus critical attack?

Quick question. If I'm attacking an opponent with a ranged weapon and get a critical roll on my attack and my opponent gets a success on his/her evade, what is the result? Is it a regular hit with no combat maneuver? My understanding is that if we both got regular successes then my opponent would successfully evade the attack altogether.

The attacker has won the opposed roll (critical beats normal) so he hits the opponent.

In addition the attacker has got 1 degree of success so gets 1 Combat Manoeuvre.

The attacker's result was a critical therefore he can choose from the critical CMs if he wishes.
