Religion in Acheron?

I´ve been wondering about the topic of religion in the ancient empire of Acheron. Which gods did they worship? How was their religion organized? Was Acheron a theocracy?

It is possible that Set was worshipped there but from what I recall (of that time - LOL), demons were most likely revered.

I believe Acheron was a theocracy similar to Stygia. I, in my limited reading, haven't found a lot of info about their ancient Gods other than the fact that they were terrible and blood thirsty.

Are you looking to have your PCs encounter an ancient Acheronian temple?

In the adventure I´m making for my party, they come across some Acheron ruins near a small village. The ruins are nothing more than some walls and the bases of the buildings now crumpled to dust. Within these ruins lies a crypt with a sorcerer buried. I wanted to write something on the sorceror´s tomb regarding religion. The sorcerer is cursed, a magical jewel that raises the dead as Risen Dead was placed inside his tomb so that the sorcerer could suffer until the flesh was reduced to dust and only the skeleton remained, by which time he was truly dead now and no more undead. So, I´m looking for info about their religion. But thanks for the info!
