Races: Aasimar

I was trying to think up some abilities and stuff for the equivalent of an Aasimar, like the ones in D&D. The MRQ wiki gives a great example for Tieflings, but I'm stumped as for what I can come up with for an Aasimar. Any ideas?

I've just looked at the online SRD; basically they're regular humans with some sort of Jerry Springer style my grand-dad was an angel shtick. So, my first draft would be:
STR 3D6 CON 3D6 SIZ 2D6+6 INT 2D6+6 POW 2D6+6 DEX 3D6 CHA 2D6+6
Mov 8m (human normal).
Runetouched (Light Rune)
Trait: Daylight.

Daylight: By spending 1MP as a Combat Action, the character can create a zone of full daylight around itself with a diameter equal to its POW in metres centred on the character lasting for 5 minutes. The character's POW affects the brightness of the daylight. A low POW Aasimar (say around POW 8) could manage the feeble daylight of a cloudy winter's day while an Aasimar with exceptional POW of around 20 could create daylight equal to a midday in the desert in the middle of summer. No heat is created by this effect.

Note that Runetouched (Light) pretty much gives the exact same benefits as given to the Aasimar in the srd.

The SRD appears to give some resistances to acid, cold and electricity for no obvious reason that I can see and it's hard to judge how strong those resistances are so I haven't translated those. Possibly fair to count them as 1 or 2 APs of protection against Cold and Storm Rune damage. Acid works quite differently so perhaps they can downgrade the intensity of acid by one step.

Hope this helps.

Oh my. Thanks for the laugh, D.

I love how just giving something Rune Touched, or a Trait or Chaos feature can do what D&D needs to make a whole new race description or new monster!
