How do I get out of prison?
One of my test NPC's rolled an 11 on the Life Event table and decided to go to prison so I could test out the prisoner career instead of losing 1 benefit roll.
He chose fixer (he has a 12 INT) and rolled "Broker" on the skill table, then survived with ease.
He rolled 6 on the events table and selected gun combat as a skill.
Now I want to get out the heck out of jail.
On page 53 it describes a parole threshold of 1d+4 and that if your advancement roll is more than your parole roll, you get out of jail.
Just to verify I'm doing this correctly....
I rolled a 6 on the dice, so my "parole roll" = 10
My advancement under "fixer" is 5, based on End.
So it's pretty easy for me to advance, but to get out, I have to roll a 10, correct?
My test NPC rolled a 9 on 2d6 and has an END of 10, so he gets a +1 which make it a 10.
He gets out of jail.
Sounds easy enough, but this is the first time I've had a chance to roll on the prisoner career.
Just want to make sure I got it right.
Thanks
