Priority levels - details?

I'm not asking for ship details, or anything like that. What I'm after is the priority levels of ships so I can put in a Navwar order. Can anyone help with this? I know the ones for the ships published in S&P, but have no idea for the rest (though I'm guessing all destroyers are patrol).

Actually a couple are Skirmish! You'd be advised to wait, really, priorities are based on effectiveness of ships, not on their designation. If you're buying Navwar, though, a good selection of the most common/best known ships won't be too expensive anyway, even if they're not the PL you think they might be.

A full list of all ships & PL would be a lengthy job. Maybe Matt might object anyway! What fleet(s) would you be interested in?

Well I'm primarily interested in early war British, German, French and Italian. I'm thinking of running a Mediterranean campaign (it avoids the dominance of carriers and super battleships).

It looked like the fleet lists as published in S&P were pretty short. Are there going to be more than that in the book, or will those come in later supplements?

Just trying to get a feel for things as I ramp up my own miniatures purchases!!

I'm buying for U.S., Royal Navy, and IJN, + the Bismarck, Prinz Eugen, and Graff Spee to use for specific scenarios.

If you want early war thats up to you the game isn't broken down into small eras like Flames of War. There's in service dates, its up to you and your group how much attention you want to pay to that.

Wulf was right in saying you should wait though I suppose if you put your Navwar order in early you'd have you fleet when the book's released. If you buy models (Navwar stuff is cheap) just remember the big battleships and battlecruisers will be War or Battle, some Heavy cruisers will be Raid, light cruisers, DDs, and subs will be Patrol and Skirmish. If you buy your fleet get the ships you like that were more common, don't buy 50 of them so you don't end up with a bunch of ships that aren't in the rules.
