Print version preordered

First time buyer of a pre-order product.
Ordered Core Expeditions which has a projected July release date.
How accurate, in general, is the print release estimate, and do I receive a notification when it ships?

I suppose this information is somewhere in the order info, but I'm too lazy to look for it

There are a lot of vagaries to international freight at the moment... However, it looks like things are tightening up (just in time for a global fuel shortage, but I digress) and that July date for Core Expeditions is looking pretty good at the moment!

And yes, you should receive a notification.
