Primus modelling

Can anyone that's built a Primus model give me some tips for attaching the probes to the bow? I've tried green stuff but I couldn't get them to stick. Many thanks...

Everyone I know that's got a primus, has remarked that. Is it not possible to pin it, with some really fine wire/rod.

I can try a pin, but there's not much metal to drill into on the probe component...

I thought about melting it with a soldering iron and welding it on. Am I losing my mind, or would that actually work...?

pin it the other way - make where it attaches to the ship slightly deeper if you have a really thin pin - then slide the probe into that. its what i had to do with dargan weapons.

basically yeah, if possible. been a while since i put one together. although got another coming in the post.

I don't think I could pull that off, to be honest. Not enough metal and not steady enough hands.

If you manage to fit the probes, be sure and let me know how you did it, ok?

i hope i had understand your problem...
i have drilled out two thin holes on every bowside with a dremel and then i heated and stretched some resin parts from some old aircraft models...and add this. looks better then the moongoose part, i find.

You did understand the problem. I appreciate the tip, I just don't have the kit to do any of that... Thanks anyway.

mhhhh....
you don´t have a dremel, or? when not, use a manual mini - drill.

You could cheat and glue a metal rod/wire to the bottom of those parts...how often do people look at the underside of a Primus anyway? This is assuming I understand the problem as well...

I could try the manual drill, but I'm new at this pinning lark and I don't really rate my chances... I could try making my own probes with paper clips, though... thanks for the tips, folks. :)
