Hi guys,

We have just uploaded previews of Freedom Station, The Rim and Leap of Faith - you can find them all in the Babylon 5 section of the web site.

While I am eagerly awaiting the Rim and Freedom Station, the Leap of Faith storyline sounds captivating...

Depending on what it contains, I might have my group from The Ragged Edge follow on into that storyline...

I have a few ideas on how to make the years inbetween pass. :)

Well, it is really good to see people excited for my new stuff. I'm not exactly sure how three titles got slotted for the same month's release, but that's cool for all of us I suppose!

My personal notes for those that are listening :) -

Freedom Station: One of my favourites, right up there with Bounty Hunter. The artist guy did a GREAT job following my ideas, and the mapper made my sketches into awesome graphics. And the Tirrith...they turned out PERFECT. Seriously, if you have a slightly underhanded PC group (or enjoyed first edition's Merchants, Traders and Raiders), grab this book.

The Rim:This will probably be more popular to GMs and players than anything I've done before. There is a whole bunch of info packed into this book, and likely to be the most-researched book for B5 that I've ever done. For anyone who likes to move their games beyond the confines of the known canon, this book is for you. It is kind of a guide of creating the unknown and unexplored.

Leap of Faith:I don't want to give any spoilers here, but this scenario -if done right- might make your PCs look over their shoulders for a VERY long time. Heh heh heh...

Just my thoughts, now that the previews are out.

Cheers all,
Bry

Wow! Someone has been busy

And the books are looking good as well, the only downside is the pain for my wallet in Feb!

Can't comment much on Freedom Station as its playtest came up at a time when we were already testing a bunch of other projects so it ended up becoming one of only three B5 RPG titles that exists that I and my crew didnt playtest.

The Rim however is an excellant book, very much the kind of book I myself enjoy and it was a pleasure to playtest... it is however one of those subjects where now that the door is open...you can see the room it is in has so much more space that can be filled and expanded on in the future... personally I hope there is a Rim 2 and 3 lol. 1 deals with how to expand to the rim, 2 could be a selection of what is in there already including the first ones and three could be a tool kit for populating your own rim, taking what was 1st ed Galactic Guide ideas and expanding on them to include species, systems, anomolies etc.. but thats just me, like I say the Rim is a real brain food book.

Leap of Faith is a good adventure too.
