Prepainted but are they also preAssembled?

The biggest problem might come from trying to match your colors to the ones Mongooses painters use, when you paint over the cut and glued areas...

That's true. Time to repaint whole model then

The point is to open the box(es) and play the game.

The modelling step in the middle is helpfully (?) cut out. Leaving us time to paint all of those other miniatures we have collected over the years. :)

One of the things that some of my group sya when they see us playing "other games" is wow they look great but i can't paint another 28mm army, now they don't have to

I'm guessing yes right? I just want to be able to create some cool action posses for the minis. Suppose I'll have to chop them up carefully?
Which begs the question... What color are the minis under the paint?

For me point is to paint and customise my models for MY taste :D For me the models are more important than the game.

Well I just want to put the torsos (w/arms and head) of those USMC minis in 'firing' poses on the legs with the crouch position. So that would just be a matter of cutting a fine line in between the waist right?

One of the first repaints I see myself doing on the USMC is adding some racial diversity to the unit to make it more realistic.

Well, that would be easy to do since there is so little skin area showing. A few minutes job really.
