Hi guys,

Anyone seen what Williams is doing for the military? :)

On another note, and there isn't too much information flying around about this at the moment, Russia is developing a new artillery piece. Brilliant Russian pragmatic approach to the problem of getting more shells into the air - have a self-propelled gun with two barrels!

No. Got a link?

Took a while to track it down (the article was in JDW, but I cannot find it on their site).

More interesting is _why_ Williams is involved. . .

Hmm, I'd better get along to some of their design reviews :)

Of course survivability technology would have been good going the other way too - some decent armour schemes would have been useful in fending off some of Herr Schumacher's impact-laden tactics in the past :D

Because Mr F Williams is a sly old fox and wants to hedge against his Asian based F1 partners taking too strong an interest in his toy cars and what better way to do it than to put yourself in line for some government money.

Now play nice Dave, he only crashed into people who wouldn't get out of his way.
