Playtesters for the new version?

Xex

Mongoose
If mongoose are looking for any playtesters for their new version of the rules, I would like to sign myself up. (multiple times if possible)

Also, any chance we could get some previews, or just some basic ideas about the new system? Is it going to be class based (which I think suits lw)or skill based, for one thing, what kind of a power curve will be there, (i.e. characters start out at 'level' 1, or 5 like in the books), will the rulebook be color or b/w, etc etc.

A tenative release date would also be nice. :)

Wow, almost 3 full years after the terrific d20 version release, we are back to square one. In a good way though. :D

Hey, that's a post!

I agree with Xex and propose my application for the "playtester" job of the future-to-be new Lone Wolf rulebook!

Unless I fell into a coma and missed the announcement then the new Lone Wolf isnt actually available to playtest at the moment.

But as far as playtesting goes, then unless it becomes an open playtest then in order to become a playtester there are a few requirements.

1) Mongoose has to be wanting more playtesters (ask them)
2) You need to contact the Yoda of playtesting Ian Belcher :) himself
3) Provided they do want more and Yoda deems you worthy then you become a padawan of Yodas and must pass the numerous trials that determine whether you are suitably skilled and able to perform the job to thier standard and deadlines.
4) Provided the above are all passed and sorted then you join the playtesting ranks with others such as myself as fully fledged Mongoose Jedi :D.
