I know there is a player locator, but i thought i would ask out of the slim hope that there are players who havent signed that topic. I am looking for players in the north dallas, texas area. I miss playing ACTA so i figured there is nothing to lose by posting this

Should look into Vassal, I know it not the same as pushing minis around but it a good way to get your fix until you find a local player. I'm lucky I got about 6 guys that play near me I just don't have as much time to devote to playing as I would like. Vassal helps me play when i can't get out of the house. Small learning curve but after that its full speed ahead.

This might sound like an odd idea but... If you sign up for the MI program and ask your FLGS owner if you could demo the game at their store you just might be able to grow your own. Player base that is. At the risk of getting my post deleted (joke), ACTA miniatures are a pain for us poor retailers to get but the supply does seem to be loosening up a bit of late. As a retailer I know that I don't mind exchanging packaged pieces of metal for slips of government printed paper and I'd bet your FLGS guy or gal is the same. Just a thought but I know that I love it when customers make the sales picth for me. Something for you to consider.
