Pavis Rises and Wraith Recon previews

Looking forward to this. Will the book feature a large fold-out map of the city? It would be quite handy if it did.

Doh. Ok, then. Does anyone know of a good link to a high-res 2nd age Pavis map so's I can print it with E size paper on a plotter? :)

Alas, no.

Believe me, if such a thing existed, I'd have a copy.

Second Age Pavis has only been detailed in a couple of books by Ian Thompson ('Shadows of Pavis' and 'Masks of Pavis'), neither of which are considered canonical, neither of which were used for 'Pavis Rises' and neither of which had a map. So, the city's never been mapped during this age although there are some terrific 3rd Age maps covering the Big Rubble, which - spoiler alert - the Second Age city becomes, in time.

Nice preview. The maps in there, for the first time, seem like good maps for a black and white book. However
There's always a however
they look rather low res on my preview. Is that an artifact of the PDF creation process? At 100% they are distinctly blurry.

We tend to use a low-res PDF for previews, I believe. A high-res version (and certainly hi-res maps) are used for the production galley that goes off to the printer.

The Rough Guide to Pavis had a map of Second Age Pavis and Ian Thompson had a copy on his website at one point. It wasn't canonical but looks perfectly reasonable to me.

Is there not gonna be a map over Pavis????

Yes, there IS a map.

Its just not a huge great fold-out map that you can decorate a wall or dining table with.
