Oracle scout cruiser + new missiles?

I have had a look at those playtest rules wich are pretty good. But is it me or will the oracle scout cruiser be so much better when given those new nukes? The reason why is because you would be replacing a 1ad, precise, slow-loading missile rack with a one shot, super ap, triple damage energy mine. apart from the fact its a one shot weapon i really cant see any downsides to putting it on the oracle wich has stealth, good anti-fighter and the scout traits, not including its beam. Does that seem slightly broken to anyone but me?

its not broken really though is it (apart from another damn race getting e-mines).
would you take a one shot weapon that cannot cause crits or keep the standard one that fires a precise weapon every other turn. i would keep standard.

although it may be useful against ISA but besides that I dont see many people using this missile at all in EA.

The missile on the oracle is 1AD, so the nuke would do 3 points of damage maximum with no crits, for the whole game. Potentially this could affect more than one ship, or it could take out a few fighters.

Now, put them on the Sagi and that is a whole different kettle of fish.

If you think that is broken you must think half the ships in the game are broken.

Psi Corp gets little to nil use of a E-mine and I wouldn't ever chose to take a one shot weapon over a every turn weapon.

I didn't say they can not get it.

I said it's not broken on an oracle and it is a poor choice in general.

You could take the anti fighter missile or the tripple damage missile.

The most tractial choice tends to be the Flash Missile. AP DD Precise 20" good all rounder.
