There's a pic of the Omega CD up on the front page. it's got a poseidons rotating section, but I think there's more detail on the fore and aft sections too.
 
there will be updated stats for it, dunno when, possibly next S&P, didnt matt already state as much in the thread about the command omega and other command variants?
 
Well the Tiger Starfury and T'Rakk descriptions on the website state that their stats appear in an issue of S&P the Command Omega description doesn't mention stats at all.
I just assumed they remain the same as they are now. Just because they release a new model for an existing ship doesn't mean there are going to be new stats for it.

It would have been nice if it was restatted as at least it would give EA 3rd and Crusade ages a decent war choice, the larger model would at least allow for some extra DP I think.
 
Call me susan if you must, but it already has stats?! Why only a month or so after armageddon must it get new stats. Are the G'Quonth and G'Tal getting new stats, I very much doubt it, what about the poor centauri ships, the dreadful avioki? oh wait, they aren't the space marines of the ongoose universe. I would ask why it got through playtesting on old stats if it's agreed it needs new ones, but I give up. I'm seriously loosing faith in mongoose at present, My drakh mothership farce, the ridiculous Armageddon which deserved a paperback at best and a sensible price tag. the Amazingly bad sculpts coming through, and the constant rejigging of rules and stats. I woun't even mention the runequest ripoff... I may just stick to playing SFOS, unless 2nd ed is amazing, and doesn't involve re-writes every 3 minutes!

Don't forget the lack of support of other races, cos of the bedding-in issue.

I'm right with u, Hiff, especially with the "Space Marines of the Mongoose universe" comment.

but Space Marines are the best army in 40K and no one would say the EA are in ACTA

They're the best because:

a) they are GW's flagship army.
b) they are good all-rounders when it comes to army selection, and;
c) they are the best supported army.

Maybe the EA aren't the best fleet (don't know, don't play as em), they certainly are one of the better supported fleets.
 
I'm with Sue.

If the Omega gets re-written I'll drop a load. Has anyone been screaming for a change in that? I haven't noticed a problem with any EA ships accept the ones knocked up to higher PL's

I think a few housecleaning fixes are better before fixing something that ain't broken. Now we have the SM T'Rakk too. Sigh..... :cry:

But they're not Mongoose's flagship fleet, I'm working hard at the Centauri getting that accolade! :wink: :lol:
 
Centauri as the Flagship fleet??? What kind of signal would that send?? a Company in decline? remembering better days??? locked in a bitter feud!!

No EA should be the flagship fleet, young, new, ambitious, dynamic and obviously Human!!!! not some alien from out of the solar system!!! :lol: :lol: Viva la EA!
